In relation to this, Kim Mi-Soo, head of the Gugaldong Administrative Civil Affairs Team, said, "Myungji University will be located in Cheoin-gu, Gangnam University and Kyung Hee University in Kiheung-gu, and Taeil University in Suzy-gu.
"The number of foreigners is increasing rapidly in areas where universities such as Dankook University are located," he explained. Yongin City is strengthening its existing multicultural family policies, which it had implemented as welfare policies, while also taking measures to deal with the influx of foreigners.
The city is taking measures to make foreigners a new driving force for the city's development. In addition to foreigner registration, there are over 8,500 Koreans with foreign nationality who report their residence and whose statistics are maintained.
