Actor Kim Yun Seok, who starred in the film "Big Family" (director: Yang Woo-suk), was full of praise for Lee Seung Gi, who shaved his head for his role as a monk.
The production of the movie "Big Family" was held at Lotte Cinema Kondaik in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 12th.
Director Yang Woo-suk and actors Kim Yun Seok, Lee Seung Gi, Kim Sung Ryoung, Kang HanNa, and Park Suyeong attended the presentation and talked about the film.
"Big Family" is about the president of a long-established dumpling restaurant, Han Moo-ok (played by Kim Yoo-young), who is left without a successor after his son (played by Lee Seung Gi) becomes a monk.
A family comedy about a man named Kim Yun Seok (played by Kim Yoo Hyun) whose adorable grandson comes to visit and they start living together in an unexpected house. This is the first family comedy challenge in actor Kim Yun Seok's filmography.
The film has been attracting attention even before its release due to Lee Seung Gi's extraordinary image change as a monk. It is also the screen comeback work of director Yang Woo-suk, who has worked on films such as "The Attorney" and "Steel Rain."
This is the first time Kim Yun Seok and Lee Seung Gi have acted together as father and son. Kim Yun Seok said about Lee Seung Gi, "I felt Lee Seung Gi was mature. He has a smart aura,
He was a well-balanced child who could do anything he wanted. In fact, I didn't expect him to be so tall, and I didn't expect his head to be so small. Before filming the movie,
"I wondered what his head would look like, but he was really cute," he said, praising him. "While filming the movie, we talked about all sorts of things like real father and son."
"Big Family" will be released in Korean cinemas on December 11th.
