The full text of THE ENTERTAINMENT's position. Hello. This is THE ENTERTAINMENT. First of all,
We would like to thank all the fans who have given so much support and love to BOYZ.
Recently, there have been a series of incidents that have violated artists' privacy and threatened their safety.
We would like to inform you of our company's position on this matter. We do not accept unauthorized visits to locations related to the private lives of our artists, such as company buildings and shops, or undisclosed schedules.
Actions such as visiting the club's offices, spreading rumors, forcibly approaching members' movements when entering or leaving the airport, taking photos or videos, following in vehicles, illegally obtaining personal information, etc.
Due to these ongoing illegal acts, including attempts to contact the artist through unauthorized means, not only the artist but also his/her family, acquaintances, and people around him/her are suffering severe mental and material damage.
In particular, on the 9th, when Sunwoo, a member of "THE BOYZ", finished his schedule and got off the elevator to the accommodation, he was about to open the front door and enter.
An incident occurred in which a shasaeng fan was hiding in the emergency stairs on the floor in question and approached him. Feeling threatened by the shasaeng fan, Sunwoo immediately reported the matter to our staff and engaged in a burglary with our staff.
The illicit fan who entered the building was caught and handed over to the police. The illicit fan was beaten several times while trying to catch him as he tried to escape. The person in question was arrested on suspicion of trespassing and assault and is currently under investigation by the police.
An investigation is currently underway. Sunwoo and our employees went to a nearby hospital immediately after the accident for examination and treatment, and we are continuing to monitor their condition as we prioritize the artist's health and well-being.
We have also confirmed that a location tracker was installed on the vehicle of an artist parked in front of our office building recently, and that the tires of another vehicle were damaged by someone else.
As a result, there were incidents of deliberate damage. In both cases, we acknowledged the facts immediately after they occurred and dealt with the matter before the schedule, preventing further damage and preventing future incidents from recurring.
We have secured CCTV footage and have filed a police report. These actions are clearly illegal and cause mental and physical harm to our artists and staff. We do not condone the invasion of privacy.
We have a zero-tolerance policy against illegal actions, including those that harm our artists, and will take clear legal action accordingly.
We would like to inform you that evidence gathering and document review are currently underway through our legal representatives, and we would like to reiterate that no concessions or agreements have been reached during this process.
