Baek Jongwon, a cooking expert who is a cast member of MBC's "Antarctic Chef," actress Lim Soo Hyang, "EXO"'s Suho, and actor Choi Jeong Hyup attended the Incheon International Airport today (16th).
They will join the Sejong Science Base in Antarctica as part of the program and take part in polar activities.
For this reason, all polar safety training, Antarctic Specially Protected Area (ASPA) education, land safety training, etc.
After finishing preparations, they boarded the plane bound for Antarctica. Baek Jongwon, who had to prepare meals using only ingredients from the Sejong Base in Antarctica, said, "I didn't know what ingredients were available, so I was worried about what to eat before I left.
"I'm nervous about the food, but I'll do my best to cook for the people who are struggling in Antarctica," he said.
"Antarctic Chef," a collaboration between X+U, is a rose depicting the process of preparing a warm meal for the crew members who are living in isolation in the harsh Antarctic environment.
It is an etty program and will be broadcast in April 2025.
