Meanwhile, nationwide online retail sales in January-October rose 8.8% to 12.3632 trillion yen (about 264 trillion yen). Of this, sales of physical goods increased 8.3% to 10.333 trillion yen.
The online retail sales of physical goods accounted for 17.7% of food, 4.7% of clothing, and 7.7% of daily necessities.
