A documentary film about group "BTOB" member Lim Hyung Sik will be released at CGV. CGV released a documentary film about "BTOB" member Lim Hyung Sik on the 20th.
"The Young Man and the Deep Sea with BTOB's Lim Hyung Sik" will be released on December 4th.
The film depicts Im Hyung Sik's visit to Palau Island in the South Pacific to shoot the music video for his solo album's title track "La Mar" underwater.
It was invited to be screened as a feature film in the Korean competition at the 20th Jecheon International Music Film Festival (JIMFF 2024) held last September, and tickets are now available for pre-sale.
The film sold out immediately. The highly challenging underwater shoot involved singing while playing guitar in the depths of the ocean, and the passion for music and the ocean that went into the filming despite all the unexpected happenings.
The film will be deeply moving as it includes the appearance of actors Hyung Sik and Lee Hyung Sik. CGV's Lee Jung Kook, head of the ICECON project team, said, "This film was nominated for the Best Feature Film award at the 20th Jecheon International Film Festival in Korea.
"As this is a film that has been highly anticipated and has garnered a lot of attention, we hope you will look forward to it," he said, "We will continue to produce more films, such as live concerts and documentaries that show the artists' honest side."
"We will continue to present various content," he said. "The Young Man and the Deep Sea with BTOB
"Lim Hyung Sik" will be screened at eight cinemas across Korea, including CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall.
