President Yoon returns home after APEC and G20 visits... Japan, US and South Korea reaffirm trilateral cooperation = South Korea

On the 21st, South Korean President Yoon Seok-youl concluded his eight-day, five-night trip to Peru to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and the G20 summits in Brazil.
President Yoon arrived at Seoul International Airport in Seongnam on the morning of that day aboard Air Force Presidential aircraft Flight 1.
At this year's APEC summit, President Yoon spoke about the Japan-Korea, US-Korea, China-Korea, and Japan-US-Korea summits.
In particular, the Japan-US-ROK summit produced the outcome of establishing the Japan-US-ROK Cooperation Secretariat with the aim of strengthening the partnership between the three countries.
The three countries also plan to expand security cooperation, including through the joint exercise "Freedom Edge," and to take measures against North Korea, which is undermining the nuclear non-proliferation regime.

They also decided to strengthen cooperation by formulating joint countermeasures against North Korea-Russia military cooperation, including North Korea's dispatch of troops to Russia.
The two leaders agreed to further develop the partnership between the two countries. Next year will mark the 10th anniversary of the China-Korea Free Trade Agreement (FTA), and they agreed to accelerate negotiations on investment in services and further widen the door to opening up to the outside world.
President Yoon also made an official visit to Peru, the host country of the APEC summit this year, and pledged to significantly expand bilateral cooperation, particularly in the defense industry, infrastructure and digital fields.

The agreements include joint production of one part, joint development of naval vessels (submarines), and a general agreement on cooperation in ground equipment for the Army. In addition, there are eight other agreements, including the Digital Information Cooperation Center, ICT cooperation, tourism, and core minerals.
After the APEC summit, President Yoon traveled to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to attend the G20 summit, which was held from the 18th to the 19th.
As its first official event, the company participated in the inauguration ceremony of the Global Alliance to End Hunger and Poverty (GAAHP), where it expressed its intention to join and joined as a member state.
President Yoon also pledged to provide $10 million in new humanitarian aid to the G20 summit to combat the climate crisis and promote international cooperation to transition to clean energy.
He proposed a new power and expressed his willingness to make a constructive contribution to that end.
