"I had just had the surgery and was still under the anesthesia, but I had a radio show so I rushed off. Someone gave me some snacks and I ate them without thinking too much about it, but I started chewing on something.
I didn't realize that it was my tongue, which was still under anesthesia. My pronunciation wasn't coming out the way I wanted it to. Even though I'm a comedian, words are my life. After that, my depression got extremely bad and I started to withdraw.
