It has been reported that US President-elect Donald Trump is considering creating a new position in the White House dedicated to cryptocurrency policy after taking office.
On the 20th (local time), Bloomberg cited a person familiar with the matter as saying that President-elect Trump is considering creating a new position focused on cryptocurrency policy.
The White House also revealed that it is reviewing candidates for the role. If such a position is created, it would be the first time that a cryptocurrency specialist has been appointed within the White House.
Earlier, President-elect Trump met privately with Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong to discuss administration appointments.
