On the 22nd, YULHEE posted a video on his YouTube channel "YULHEE's House" showing him going out to a meeting to file a lawsuit in relation to malicious comments.
In the video, YULHEE, who was on his way to meet with his legal representative, said, "The reason I decided to sue (for malicious comments) is because I have a job where I show my work to a lot of people, so there are a lot of opinions.
"I always thought that while I was promoting," he said, "This time too, I saw a lot of malicious comments and thought that I might use some aggressive language, but if I let it go unnoticed little by little, it might come back to haunt me."
"It's gotten out of hand and gotten worse, so I decided to file a lawsuit," he said, explaining his intentions. "I know that you may not like my actions or activities, but I am not happy with the attacks on my personal life, the sexual assaults, etc.
"I thought it would be best to leave malicious comments like Hara's to the law without any leniency," he said, "Many people provided information about malicious comments, and there were also many malicious messages that came directly to me."
Through the subtitles in the video, she also said, "I thought I should embrace everything and move forward, but the more I moved forward, the more I received harsh words. Those people are not just making mean comments about me, but about myself.
"I don't think there will be any way to resolve this, and I think legal action will be necessary." Meanwhile, YULHEE is filing a lawsuit against her former husband, Choi Min Hwan of FTISLAND, requesting changes to parental rights and child custody, as well as compensation and property division.
Prior to that, they released audio recordings of Choi Min Hwan's visits to entertainment establishments and his involvement in sex trafficking before his divorce.
Regarding YULHEE's lawsuit on the 5th, the representative lawyer of the corporation stated, "This lawsuit was filed due to YULHEE's earnest wish to 'hold her children in my arms again and raise them.'"
They also announced, "We will also simultaneously apply for a 'temporary guardian designation and advance disposition regarding the payment of child support' so that we can spend time together with our children as soon as possible."
YULHEE and Choi MIN HWAN had their first son in 2018, got married, and had twins in 2020.
They announced their divorce in December. Choi Min Hwan is currently taking care of the three siblings.
