US investment bank Cantor Fitzgerald is reportedly in talks with Tether (USDT), the world's largest stablecoin issuer, to launch a Bitcoin lending program.
Bloomberg reported on the 24th (local time) that Cantor Fitzgerald is currently lending dollars to clients who use Tether and Bitcoin as collateral.
"Cantor Fitzgerald has asked Tether to support this program."
He continued, "The scale of the aid is expected to range from a minimum of $2 billion (308.5 billion yen) to a maximum of tens of billions of dollars."
