Metaplanet signs contract to operate Japanese branch of cryptocurrency media ”Bitcoin Magazine”

Metaplanet, an investment company headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, is planning to release a local Japanese edition of its Bitcoin Magazine.
On the 25th (local time), Metaplanet, six months after first purchasing Bitcoin, posted a tweet on the cryptocurrency news media, Bitcoin.
Meta Planet announced that it has signed a license agreement with BTC Media Inc. to operate the Japanese branch of Coin Magazine.
Through this agreement, we have signed an exclusive license agreement with Bitcoin Magazine Japan.
BTC Media Inc., which operates Bitcoin Magazine, has announced that it has secured the rights to launch Bitcoin Japan.
Metaplanet is preparing to fully launch Bitcoin Magazine Japan in the first quarter of 2025. The two companies announced their merger in July last year.
The first company to sign a contract to run the media was UTXO Management, the venture capital arm of BTC Inc.
Meta Planet said in a statement that "Japan is an important player in the global financial and technology sectors, and we are pleased to see the growth of Bitcoin in Japan."
"Through Bitcoin Magazine Japan, we aim to be a bridge between Japanese financial institutions, regulators, and the Bitcoin community," he said.
"We are aiming for that," he added.
