大韓航空が「熊本路線」を27年ぶりに “再会”
Korean Air ”reunites” with Kumamoto route after 27 years
Korean Air, the largest airline in Korea, announced on the 25th that it held an event to commemorate the resumption of service on the Incheon-Kumamoto route at Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 on the 24th of this month.
Korean Air flight KE777, which departed from Incheon International Airport and arrived at Aso Kumamoto Airport, resumed operations that afternoon.
Korean Air launched a new route to Kumamoto in April 1991, but suspended operations in 1997.
The flight time from Incheon to Kumamoto is about 1 hour and 30 minutes, and from Kumamoto to Incheon it takes about 2 hours.
Since it is a short-distance international flight, you can enjoy a convenient trip.
A Korean Air official said, "Kumamoto is a transportation hub connecting the southern and northern parts of Kyushu, and is a popular destination for both locals and tourists.
"By connecting with other cities in Kyushu where Korean Air serves, such as Fukuoka, Kagoshima, and Nagasaki, customers will be able to enjoy an even more fulfilling trip," he said.
