Jeju Air takes first place in market share for Japan-Korea route = Korea

The number of passengers on the Japan-Korea route was 20,566,186, the highest among all international routes.
This is almost double the number of passengers on the second-place route, China-Korea, which had 11,569,100 passengers.
During this period, Jeju Air carried 3,153,963 passengers on Japan routes.
Jeju Air recorded a market share of 15.3% in the total, ranking first among all airlines. As of November, Jeju Air has 16 routes, including "Incheon/Busan - Tokyo/Osaka/Fukuoka".
The airline operates 224 Japan-Korea routes per week. A Jeju Air official said, "The trend of short, frequent trips to nearby areas, combined with the depreciation of the yen, has resulted in a robust Japan travel market.
The demand for lines continues."
