Korean singer Lim Young Woong has once again put into practice the good deed of donating. According to the music industry on the 1st, Lim Young Woong made a donation at the "Hello World Cup" event held at the Daejeon World Cup Stadium on October 12th.
The bank donated the entire 1.2 billion won (approximately 129 million yen) earned from ticket sales at the Na Bank Charity Soccer Tournament.
At the tournament that day, a crowd of more than 35,000 filled the stadium.
The event will feature singer Lim Young Woong, Korean soccer legend Ki SungYong, as well as retired and active professional soccer players such as Lee ChungYong, Park Ju-ho, Cho Won-hee, and Kim Young Kwang.
The players and popular YouTubers were there to enthusiastically support each other. In particular, Lim Young Woong, who served as captain of Team HERO, recorded one assist that day.
Lim Young Woong had previously pledged to use all proceeds from participating in this competition to support the socially disadvantaged.
As a result, the entire amount of ticket revenue raised through this tournament, 1.2 billion won (approximately 129 million yen), will be donated to World Vision and Sarangae Yeolme (Fruit of Love).
The donations will be given to those in need. Both Lim Young Woong and his fan club Hero Era are said to be making donations steadily and exerting a positive influence on the public. Netizens commented,
