Auto exports from Shanghai Port top 2 million units, set to exceed 2023 export volume - Chinese report

According to China's Shanghai Customs, the number of automobile exports from the port of Shanghai reached 2,013,000 units from January to October this year, already exceeding the annual export volume for 2023.

According to Shanghai Customs, the number of automobile exports from Shanghai Port in the first 10 months of this year increased 28.8% year-on-year to 2,013,000 units, surpassing the 10,000 units mark in the entire country.
Of these, the number of electric vehicles (EVs) exported increased by 44.3% to 872,000 units. By trading partner, the number of exports of "One Belt, One Road" joint construction vehicles from Shanghai Port to China during the same period was 1.1%.
In total, 1,048,000 vehicles were exported to China, 532,000 to BRICS, and 780,000 to APEC. These figures represent an increase of 29.5%, 51.6%, and 2.1% respectively, compared to the same period last year.
