Police also obtained a statement that he had bought a glass of soda mixed with methamphetamine from someone at a club for 100,000 won (approximately 10,000 yen) and drunk it.
The police plan to expand their investigation into the owner and employees of the store to see if they are involved in the distribution of illegal drugs. A police official said, "The owner, who is a naturalized Vietnamese, has not yet been charged with any crimes.
"There are currently no plans to investigate other clubs in the area," he said. The two agencies plan to continue working closely together to eliminate illegal drug crimes in clubs.
