CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa appointed as K-FISH ambassador for seafood export
The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries of Korea has selected K-Pop band CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa as the ambassador for Korea's seafood exports. Yong Hwa, who has become the ambassador, will be introducing various seafood brands.
The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries announced on the 3rd that it has appointed singer and actor Jung Yong Hwa (35) as the Republic of Korea seafood export ambassador.
Together with Jeong Yong Hwa, they plan to promote the excellence and value of Korean seafood to global consumers. This year, Korea's seafood exports reached $2.513 billion (approximately 370 billion yen) as of October.
This is a 1.7% increase from the same period last year. Despite the high prices, high prices and high interest rates, Korean seafood exports were strong last year, and this year exports are also booming, led by seaweed, which ranked first in the global market share.
