This is the first time that a store has set up a space where customers can eat instant ramen at an airport in South Korea.
Gimhae International Airport is the seventh airport in South Korea with the largest number of international passengers.
Of the approximately 15 million passengers, nearly half (7.28 million) pass through the airport, making it a major gateway between Korea and the rest of the world. Nongshim has set up "K Ramen Experience Stores" at both the international and domestic terminals of the airport.
The plan is to open one each time and operate them until June 2025. In the international area, a mini pop-up store with the concept of a "Chapagetti snack shop" has been set up.
There is also a photo zone where you can take photos with the characters from the "CU" series, as well as a post box where you can write and send postcards.
The shop in the domestic terminal area will be an unmanned store where customers can eat various kinds of instant ramen in packets, and the shop will also sell foods such as "Chapagetti" collaboration norimaki.
There are 30 kinds of noodles on offer. Side dishes include eggs, kimchi, and seaweed rolls.
