[Official] Netflix's ”Trunk” also hit by emergency martial law... Seo HyunJin's interview canceled, GongYoo is also unknown

The actor interview schedule for the Netflix series Trunk was suddenly cancelled in the aftermath of emergency martial law.

The PR agency for ‘Trunk’ announced on the 4th "The interview with actress Seo Hyun-jin, which was scheduled for today (4th), has been cancelled. The revised schedule will be announced later."

It also said, "The availability of interviews with actors Gong Yoo and Jung Yoon Ha will also be announced again."

At 10:28 p.m. on the 3rd, President Yun Suk-yeol announced in an emergency communique that "I will declare emergency martial law in order to eliminate at once the disgraceful North-South anti-national forces that are plundering the freedom and happiness of the Korean people and to protect the free constitutional order."

This was the first declaration of emergency martial law in about 45 years, since 1979, and President Yun's sudden announcement prompted some 190 members of the ruling and opposition parties to rush to the National Assembly. In response, a resolution demanding the lifting of emergency martial law was passed and processed by 190 of the 190 members present at a plenary session held shortly after 1am on the 4th.

Accordingly, the declaration of martial law was annulled, and three and a half hours later, at 4:27 am, President Yoon announced in his State of the Nation Address that he would lift martial law, and the State Council subsequently voted on a bill to lift emergency martial law and martial law was lifted.

However, despite martial law being lifted in about six hours, Seo Hyun-jin's interview was cancelled in the aftermath of this, and it remains to be seen whether Gong Yoo's interview will take place as planned.
