South Korean Ministry of Defense and military: ”Even if a second martial law is declared, we will never comply”

As impeachment proceedings against President Yoon Seok-yeol are underway in the National Assembly, South Korea's Ministry of National Defense and military have declared that they will not comply even if President Yoon declares emergency law again.
Kim Seon Ho, acting Minister of Defense, made the remarks during an unscheduled announcement on the 6th of “The Ministry of National Defense’s Position on Emergency Martial Law.”
Vice Minister Kim said, "The claim of a 'second martial law situation' that was circulated in some quarters this morning is completely untrue.
Even if there are demands to issue the order, the Ministry of National Defense and the Joint Chiefs of Staff will never accept them."
