South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yeol met with U.S. Ambassador to South Korea Philip Goldberg on the 8th and explained the South Korean government's position on the "emergency martial law" declared on the 3rd.

Meanwhile, Ambassador Goldberg also posted on social media about his meeting with Foreign Minister Cho, "We discussed the current situation in South Korea and
