China's e-commerce logistics index reaches 115.5 in November, highest in seven years - Chinese media

On the 8th, the China Logistics Purchasing Federation announced the China E-commerce (EC) Logistics Index for November. As online consumer demand continues to grow, the EC logistics index also maintained an upward trend, reaching a high of 1.1 in November.
The index rose 0.5 points from the previous month to 115.5 in November, the highest level in the past seven years.
By item, the total business volume index rose 0.4 points to 134.1. By region, the total e-commerce logistics index rose 0.4 points to 134.1 in all regions nationwide.
The workload index increased, with the Tohoku region seeing the largest increase. The employee index also increased slightly due to the increased workload. In addition, the quality of service provided by e-commerce logistics companies improved overall.
The footfall rate index, logistics time efficiency index, and fulfillment rate index all rose slightly from the previous month, remaining at high levels. Looking at EC consumption items, the trend is shifting to one that prioritizes quality over quantity.
