Japan, US and South Korea hold nuclear talks with North Korea even in a state of martial law... ”We will cooperate against North Korean provocations”

They recognized that the three countries' cooperation in dealing with North Korea is more important than ever, and shared their assessment of the recent situation on the Korean Peninsula and in Northeast Asia. They also shared their views on the possibility of a provocation by North Korea.

Meanwhile, the North Korean nuclear talks were held amid a series of major diplomatic events being canceled amid the impeachment political situation.
