Im Siwan's ”Misaeng” to be screened at cinemas for 10th anniversary
The Korean drama ‘Missen’, produced by Studio Dragon and broadcast on tvN, has been attracting attention in Korean cinemas with a special CGV screening on the 10th anniversary of its broadcast.

The drama ‘Missen’ is a dramatisation of Yoon Tae-ho's webcomic of the same name and deals with the story of Jang Gure, the protagonist who has played Go all his life, but is thrown into a cruel reality after failing to join a professional team. At the time of its broadcast, the series closely depicted corporate life from the perspective of Jang Gure, a first-year working adult, and mass-produced a fanatical audience, recording an average of 8.4% and a maximum of 10.3% in the final episode, thus marking the show's crowning glory.

Studio Dragon and CGV have decided to screen 13 episodes selected as Legends among the 20 episodes of ‘The Worms’ in cinemas under the title ‘The Worms: It was perfect’ to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the broadcast of ‘The Worms’. The film will be screened at 17 cinemas in South Korea, including CGV Yongsan (Yongsan) Aipark Mall, starting on the 20th (Fri), with advance sales starting on the 12th (Thu). Episode 13 of ‘Missen’ impressed viewers with Oh Sang-sik's compliment to Jang Guree that he was ‘perfect’, along with the Jordan business PT of the Sales 3 team, which was driven by Jang Guree's idea.

An event to meet the production staff and actors of ‘Missen’ will also be organised. A live talk where you can meet director Kim Won-seok, writers Jung Yoon-jung and Yoon Tae-ho, and actors Lee Sung-min, Lim Siwan, Kang Ha-neul, Kang So-ra, Kim Dae-myung and Byun Yo-han at a special screening of ‘The Worms: It was perfect’ will be held on Friday 20th (7:40pm). The event will be held at the CGV Yongsan Aipark Mall from 7.40pm on Friday, 20th.

Studio Dragon and CGV will donate the proceeds from the screening to the CJ Donors Camp's ‘Academy for Growing Dreams’, which helps youths who are having difficulty finding work to become practically independent, and to support facilities nationwide for those who need help in becoming independent. The Korean Broadcast Performers' Rights Association also provided additional support of a predetermined amount for the meaningful event.

An official from Studio Dragon said, ‘We decided to organise this event to provide drama fans with an opportunity to see representative episodes of “Missen”, which is still a classic, and the main characters of the film at one time.
