According to the General Administration of Customs of China, the total value of goods trade between January and November of this year increased 4.9% year-on-year to 39.79 trillion former (about 833 trillion yen). Of this, exports increased 6.7% to 23.4 trillion former.
By trade type, general trade increased 3.7% to 25.5 trillion formers (approximately 554 trillion yen).
The amount of processed trade decreased by 3.6% to 7.22 trillion former (approximately 151 trillion yen), while the amount of trade using bonded logistics increased by 13% to 5.64 trillion former (approximately 118 trillion yen).
By trade partner, ASEAN increased by 8.6% to 6.29 trillion former (approximately 132 trillion yen), accounting for 15.8% of the total, making it China's largest trade partner.
The amount of goods sold rose 12.7% to 3.74 trillion formers (approximately 78 trillion yen), while imports rose 3% to 2.55 trillion formers (approximately 53 trillion yen). In addition, the second-placed European Union (EU) increased by 1.3%, and the third-placed United States increased by 4.
In the same period, the export and import volume of private foreign trade companies increased by 8.7% to 21.99 trillion yen (approximately 460 trillion yen), accounting for 55.3% of the total.
The value of exports and imports by foreign companies increased 1.1% to 11.67 trillion former (about 244 trillion yen), accounting for 29.3% of the total.
Looking at export items, machinery and electrical products increased by 8.4% to 13.7 trillion yen (about 287 trillion yen).
