[Official] Kim Nam Gil, Park Sin Hye, Jang Nara, Jisung, Hwang Jung Eum, Ahn BoHyun nominated for Grand Prize at the 2024 SBS Drama Awards

Kim Nam Gil from Hot Blood Priestess 2, Park Shin-hye from The Devil's Girlfriend is a Judge, Jang Nara from Good Partner - I'll Solve Your Divorce Problems, Ji-sung from Connection, Hwang Jung-eum from Resurrection of the Seven and Ahn Bo-hyun from Zaibatsu x Detective will be competing for the 2024 SBS Acting Grand Prize. They will compete for the grand prize trophy.

On the 18th, SBS revealed the six nominees for the grand prize of the ‘SBS 2024 Acting Awards’.

Firstly, it is noteworthy that Ahn Bo Hyun of ‘Zaibatsu x Detective’, which brilliantly decorated the beginning of the year 2024, has grown up to be a candidate for the grand prize. He is a detective, but at the same time, he is from a conglomerate, and through this unique setting, he brought out the three-dimensional charm of the character to the fullest extent and drew out viewers' desires for Season 2.

Next, Hwang Jung-eum of ‘Resurrection of the Seven’ showed a strong acting transformation despite appearing in only eight episodes, and was nominated for the Grand Prize. Jang Nara, who gained great popularity with ‘Myo Ri Girl Succeeds’, has since gone on to ‘Empress Dignity’, ‘VIP’ and even ‘Good Partner - I'll Solve Your Divorce Issues’ on SBS, where she has returned after a long absence, and has continued her reputation as a ratings machine. In ‘Good Partner’, she played the role of Cha Eun-kyung, a star lawyer whose vocation is divorce, and she captivated the TV theatre by displaying a cool-headedness and charisma that she has not usually shown.

SBS's ambitious ‘The Devil's Girlfriend is a Judge’ attracted a great deal of attention with Park Shin-hye's acting transformation. Park Shin-hye, who has mainly played innocent, cheerful but somewhat depressing characters in the past, succeeded in a 180-degree acting transformation by taking on the role of the evil but adorable demon Kang Bin-na in ‘The Devil Girlfriend is a Judge’.

Finally, Kim Nam Gil from ‘Hot Blooded Priest 2’ was nominated for the grand prize. Kim Nam-gil returned for the first time in five years for Season 2 of ‘Fever Priest’, the pioneer of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama series, and thrilled ‘Fever Priest’ fans by fully demonstrating the charm of Kim Hae-il, a priest with ‘anger management disorder’ as ever. ‘Hot Blood Priest 2’ recorded high viewer ratings of 12.4% from the first episode and has maintained double-digit viewer ratings so far after ranking first in miniseries viewer ratings on all broadcasting stations in 2024.

Meanwhile, ‘2024 SBS Acting Awards’, with Shin Dong-yeob, Kim Hae-yun and Kim Ji-young as MCs, will be broadcast live from 8:35pm on Saturday 21st December.
