[Official] ADOR expresses concern over NewJeans' launch of its own new social media platform... ”Protests from advertisers and other third parties”

Entertainment agency ADOR expressed concern over the group NewJeans's social media activities. On the 18th, an ADOR representative stated that NewJeans had been using a private social media account.
Regarding the recent launch of a new platform and an account that is not an official SNS account, Herald POP said, "All accounts other than the official SNS account are established through prior consultation under an exclusive contract.
"The account and the content posted in question have actually led to inquiries and complaints from third parties, including advertisers, and we are concerned about the situation," the company said.
"Separate entertainment activities through the account may cause legal issues," and they asked that communication continue through official channels as before.
The five members of "New Jeans", Minzy, HYERI, HANI, Daniel, and Haein, held an emergency press conference on the 29th of last month to announce that they had terminated their exclusive contract with ADOR.
The contract was terminated because ADOR had violated its obligations under the exclusive contract and had not remedied the breach within the required period. ADOR filed suit in the Seoul Central District Court.
The Company filed a lawsuit seeking confirmation of the validity of the exclusive contract.
