MicroStrategy founder Michael Saylor has said he would be open to consulting on crypto assets if requested by the Trump Administration.
Saylor expressed this intention in an interview with Bloomberg on the 18th (local time). MicroStrategy is currently the largest bidder on a single company basis.
Saylor has reportedly met with various members of the Trump administration recently. MicroStrategy was recently listed on the Nasdaq 100.
However, he also spoke out against the criticism that he is over-investing in Bitcoin. He said, "MicroStrategy runs a software division and is not solely dependent on Bitcoin investments.
"We have no plans to invest in Bitcoin. Our software business generates $75 million in annual revenue, and our unrealized investment gains on Bitcoin are at the level of $18.6 billion per year," he said.
