Actor Song Joong Ki, ”'Bogota' Cookie, the most independent character... my desires are boiling” (photography and interview)

Fashion magazine "Harper's BAZAAR Korea" has released a photo shoot of two actors from the movie "Bogota: The Land of Last Chance," Song Joong Ki and Lee HeeJun.
The film "Bogota: The Land of the Last Chance" depicts the story of Song Joong Ki, who travels to Bogota, Colombia with new hopes after the Korean currency crisis, and discovers the strength of the Korean community in Bogota.
The story revolves around a suspect, customs broker Suyeong (Lee Hee-Jun), and Sergeant Park (Kwon Hea-Hyo).
In an interview published on the 20th, what were the concerns you had while interpreting the role of "Kukki", who has to adapt to a strange society?
When asked about his personality, Song Joong Ki replied, "He is the most independent character I have played recently. He doesn't show it on the outside, but he has intense desires boiling up inside him.
Ji-gang from "In This Bad World" and Ki-wan from "Ro Ki-wan" are characters who have no interest in motivation or basic desires in life.
"While Tar was a character who was very open about his desires, Cookie is the one whose desire to succeed and live a prosperous life is the most obvious."
Regarding his co-star Lee HeeJun, he said, "If I'm the type who sees the forest, then HeeJun hyung is the type who sees the forest.
He is so sensitive that he even notices leaves that I don't see. He has great observational skills, just like Heejun hyung's paintings. He digs deep into why a certain character behaved in a certain way.
Lee Hee-jun, who played the role of Suyeong, the number two customs broker in the Korean smuggling market, also said about his co-star Song Joong Ki, "Joon-gi is a great actor.
He has a warmth that embraces everyone. Even though the lead actor is busy with his own role, he notices when the supporting actors are nervous and is a person who cares about everyone.
"I felt that he was an actor who had the ability to lead the whole film while also supporting the supporting characters and villains."
When asked what he paid the most attention to while playing the character of Suyeong, he said, "I was once an elite.
This work is the result of thinking about what it would be like to become a smuggler and survive in an unfamiliar society, and what attitude one would have to adopt in order to survive.
Because we are different from the people of that country, we try to look like them.
I thought he was someone who always pretended to be confident and relaxed because he had an inferiority complex, like wearing a watch or growing a mustache. However, he was not too rough and looked sexy.
