Kim Nam-gil added "I think it's a really happy place to act with good actors. I was especially happy on set with the cast of ‘Hot Blood Priest 2’, and it was love and joy not only for me but for everyone." adding, “I may have some shortcomings with the work, but you are the people who gave me a new genre in 'Hot Blood Priest’. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and say thank you for all your hard work so far."
Lee Hani, who received the Grand Prize trophy, said ‘’I think ‘Hot Blooded Priest’ is the work that you, the viewers, have led us to again. Doing a season two is not easy, but I missed the five years of waiting, and I missed it while filming. I know how important this is for me."
Lee Hani also said "I'm still practising putting myself down, even though I'm not very good at it, because someone more important than me was born. I'm working on dismantling myself after my 30s, when I pushed myself until I became a bit more selfish while advancing as an actor. It was a turning point for me to open another chapter as an actor," he said, "I will devote myself to being a better actor, a better person and a better mum. I am very grateful to my daughter who has grown up so well while my mum was away, my husband who has persevered, my parents who brought me up like this and all my fans."
