The cumulative weekend audience for the three-week period exceeded 2.59 million, making it one of the top five Korean films released this year.

"Firefighter" beat public expectations and emerged as a dark horse in the year-end movie market, beating out Disney films "Moana 2" and "Lady Gaga: The Movie."
In particular, on the 22nd, the 19th day after its release, "Firefighter" surpassed the final audience of the movie "Escape" at 2,561,854 people, making it into the top 5 Korean movies of 2024.
"Firefighter," which has been listed alongside hits such as "The Outlaws 4," "The Veteran 2," and "The Pilot," is now on a long run, aiming to surpass 3 million viewers.
It is expected to liven up the Christmas movie district along with the Korean blockbuster "Harbin" (director: Woo Min-ho). "Firefighter" will be priced at 119 won per paid ticket for each person who watches it.
The "119 Won Donation Challenge" is being held to donate cash to improve the equipment and working conditions of Korean firefighters. This donation challenge allows people to donate to firefighters just by watching the movie "Firefighter".
