Cryptocurrency payments provider MoonPay has acquired Helio Pay, expanding its commerce services offerings to crypto companies.
On the 23rd (local time), Fox reporter Eleanor Terrett commented on X's post, "MoonPay has signed a $150 million (approximately 2.5 billion) investment with HYERI OPay."
"We are currently in negotiations for a deal worth 3.5 billion yen, which will be the largest acquisition since the company was founded."
MoonPay is a company that provides infrastructure for cryptocurrency payments through PayPal accounts.
The platform will enable users to buy and sell digital assets using debit and credit cards, and will also accept payments via Apple Pay and Google Pay.
It also supports mobile payment services such as Pay. Meanwhile, HYERI OPAY is similar to Coinbase Commerce and supports over 6,000 e-commerce merchants and content creators.
ETHers can receive payments in Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins like USD Coin, and hundreds of other cryptocurrencies.
