On the same day, CEO Lee wrote on Facebook, "If Jesus Christ came to this earth right now, he would chase away the darkness of the civil war with the small light he holds in his hand.
"I wish I could be with the people of Japan who are paying their respects," he wrote. "The longer this silent, holy night continues, the brighter the light of hope for our new nation becomes.
"I pray with a heartfelt heart, dreaming of the birth of the light that will drive away the darkness," he said, "May Jesus melt the hearts and bodies of the people who are putting their lives on the line in the cold wave of the civil crisis."
"I hope that the candle will become a warm light for everyone," he continued. "I will fulfill my political responsibilities so that the 'birthday' of all the people can be realized in their daily lives," he said.
"With the warmth of solidarity shown to us, we vow to make a future full of hope come true," he added.
