According to Russia's TASS and RIA Novosti news agencies, a Kremlin diplomatic aide said, "North Korea is among the countries that have decided to send troops to the military parade to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory Day on May 9 next year."
"I think so," he said. "Russia attaches great importance to next year's 80th anniversary of Victory Day, and it is expected that foreign leaders will visit Russia on this occasion.
"We will ask questions and have military contingents from some countries take part in the parade," he said. Prior to this, Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov visited North Korea on the 29th of last month and met with Kim Jong Eun.
He reportedly told the general, "We will invite the North Korean military to the military parade to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory Day," and "I look forward to a positive decision."
