Lee Min Ho was a victim of a drunk driving traffic accident... After the popularity of ”Boys Over Flowers,” he chose to live a solitary life
Actor Lee Min-ho confessed about a car accident he had previously experienced.

Lee Min Ho appeared as a guest on the tvN variety programme ‘Yoo Quiz ON THE BLOCK’ (‘Yoo Quiz’) on the 25th.

Actor Lee Min-ho attracted attention by revealing the behind-the-scenes story of his audition for the drama Boys Over Flowers. Yoo Jae-seok asked, "I heard that you had an unintended gap when you were a rookie just starting your career", and Lee Min-ho opened up about the car accident he experienced after the EBS production ‘Secret Schoolyard’.

Lee Min-ho said, "I was in a major car accident. There was a perpetrator, but it was such a big accident that everyone in the perpetrator's car died. I lived for almost a year while lying in hospital", he recalled, shocking the audience.

In response, Yoo Jae-suk looked regretful as he recalled the incident, saying, "I went on a trip with Jung Il and with a drunk driver who crossed the centre line."

Yoo Jae-seok said about Lee Min-ho's most famous work, Boys Over Flowers, that "this has been 16 years now’ and that the audition competition at the time was 300 to 1. Lee Min-ho drew attention when he revealed that he went in with permed hair as the male lead from the time of his audition. He said, "At a young age, it wasn't a hairstyle that looked cool. I didn't want to do it. Looking back, the work worked. If it hadn't gone well, I don't know what my future would have been like", which made him laugh.

Lee Min-ho, who rose to stardom after Boys Over Flowers, said of his popularity at the time "I chose to be isolated. I tried to suppress my emotions. I thought a lot about the family I had to protect and the people who liked me", he confided.

On the same day, Lee Min Ho revealed an episode in which he turned down SM Entertainment's scouts three times.
