Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei economic bloc's imports and exports hit record high of 4.6 trillion formers - Chinese report

According to statistics from the Chinese customs, the value of imports and exports in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei economic zone from January to November this year reached 4.6 trillion former (approximately 99.2 trillion yen), up 0.6% from the same period last year.
Of this, Beijing accounted for 71.7% of the total trade volume in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the highest proportion ever.
Imports from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei economic region in January-November amounted to 3.35 trillion formers (approximately 72.2 trillion yen). Of this, high-tech products accounted for 1.3 trillion formers.
It increased by 3.1%, accounting for more than 10% of the total. Automobile parts and aviation parts showed relatively high growth, increasing by 13.7% and 13%, respectively.
Meanwhile, exports during the same period increased 4.5% to 1.25 trillion yen (approximately 27 trillion yen). Of this, 11% were high-tech products.
Other notable increases were automobiles (up 62.8%), the "new three" (new energy vehicles, lithium Eon batteries, and solar cells) products (up 46.6%), and mobile phones (up 29.3%).
