Photo time event for '2024 MBC Entertainment Awards' canceled due to plane crash... Awards ceremony to go ahead as scheduled

The 2024 MBC Entertainment Awards will be held as scheduled despite the Muan Airlines plane crash.
On the 29th, MBC said, "Due to emergency news special organization, today, December 29th (Sunday) afternoon
"We regret to inform you that the photo time event for the 2024 MBC Entertainment Awards, scheduled for 7 p.m., has been canceled," the company said.
"'MBC Entertainment Awards' will be held as scheduled. If there are any changes to the schedule, we will make an announcement."
At around 9:07 a.m. on that day, Jeju Air Flight 7C2216 from Bangkok, Thailand, departed Muang International Airport.
While attempting to land on the airport runway, the plane crashed, resulting in serious casualties. All broadcasting stations have switched to news specials to report on the situation. As a result, previously scheduled programs have been canceled.
The 2024 MBC Entertainment Awards will air from 8:30 p.m.
