According to rescue authorities including the Fire and Disaster Management Agency, at around 9:07 a.m. on the 29th, flight 7C2216 landed on the runway at Muan International Airport.
While attempting to land, the plane crashed and collided with the runway wall. Of the 181 passengers (175 passengers and 6 crew members), 179 people died in the accident, excluding the two crew members.
