China's culture and related industries to add 4.59% of GDP in 2023: Chinese report

According to the National Bureau of Statistics of China, the results of the 5th National Economic Census show that the added value of the national cultural and related industries in 2023 will be 5.9464 trillion formal (approximately 127.2 trillion yen).
By industry, the cultural services industry accounted for 4.1158 trillion yen (approximately 88 trillion yen), up 2.3 percentage points from the previous year.
The cultural manufacturing industry increased by 2.6 points to 1.2168 trillion former (about 26 trillion yen), accounting for 20.5%, while the cultural wholesale and retail industry increased by 613.8 billion former (about 13.5 trillion yen), accounting for 20.5%, down 2.6 points.
By field, the "core cultural field" accounted for 71.2% with 4.2312 trillion yen (approximately 90.5 trillion yen), and the culture-related field accounted for 1.7152 trillion yen.
Formerly (approximately 36.7 trillion yen), the proportion was 28.8%.
