BLACKPINK's JISOO mourns Jeju Air Disaster... Content release postponed

JISOO of the group BLACKPINK expressed her condolences for the Jeju air disaster.
On the 31st of last month, BLISSOO, the management office of JISOO, posted on social media, "The unfortunate passenger plane disaster that occurred last weekend
"We convey our deepest condolences and sympathies to all those who lost their lives and their families," the statement read, "We pray for the repose of the souls of the deceased."
He continued, "In order to participate in the national mourning period, the birthday content and SNS upload schedule scheduled for this week has been changed.
According to rescue authorities including the Fire and Disaster Management Agency, at around 9:07 a.m. on the 29th, Jeju Air Flight 7C2216 was killed.
The plane was attempting to land on the runway at Muan Airport when it collided with the runway wall. All 179 of the 181 people on board (175 passengers and 6 crew members) died in the accident, except for two.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Strategy and Finance Choi Sang-mok, acting president, has declared a national mourning period until January 4.
JISOO will appear in the Coupang Play series "Newtopia," scheduled for release on February 7, 2025.
