Kim took to the stage at a rally held near the presidential palace in Seoul that day and said, "Despite the cold weather, people from all over the country are coming out to support President Yoon."
"I feel sorry that I have never been able to appear before such patriotic conservatives," he said, adding, "I am being attacked on YouTube every day."
He continued, "Why has South Korea become like this? Is this really a country?" and "This week is the turning point. We need to join forces a little more to protect South Korea and President Yoon."
If we can unite, we can save Korea." He also said, "I am a former member of the Marine Corps, and what I learned there is that when the country is in trouble and the people are in difficulty, the Marines are the ones who stand at the forefront to protect the country.
"I really respect and love those who are waving the Taegeukgi (the Korean national flag) and the Stars and Stripes and calling for the invalidity of the 'impeachment of martial law.' You are the masters of Korea."
Kim continued, "I wonder how difficult it must be for President Yoon to spend each and every day. How can someone like him who said he would fight for us to the end be able to do this?"
He praised President Yoon, saying, "Where else can we find a president who has done as well as this man over the past two and a half years?"
