The automaker said it sold 1,708,293 vehicles in the U.S. in 2024, up 3.4% from the previous year. This figure surpasses the previous record of 1,652,822 vehicles sold in 2023.
This marks the first time that Hyundai and Kia's combined annual U.S. sales have exceeded 1.7 million units.

Hyundai's "top three" models are the Tucson (206,126 units), Avante (136,698 units), and Santa Fe (110,900 units).

Looking at the annual sales figures released by major automakers last year, GM maintained its top spot with 2,689,346 units, followed by Toyota with 2,332,623 units. In third place was Toyota, which sold 2,065,161 units.
