ゼレンスキー氏の支持率が開戦初期に比べ「4割」減=ウクライナ
Zelensky's approval rating down 40% since early war in Ukraine
As February marks the third anniversary of the start of the Ukrainian war, it has become clear that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's approval rating has fallen by 40% since the beginning of the war.
According to AFP on the 7th (local time), a poll released by the Kyiv Institute of International Sociology (KIIS) on the same day showed that President Zelensky's trust rating was 52%.
In March, the figure was 90%. In March 2022, 7% of respondents said they did not trust President Zelenskyy, but in this latest survey, that figure rose to 39%.
"The decline in trust in President Zelensky is diminishing his future potential and influence as a public figure," said KIIS executive director.
"It is causing fatal damage to the body," he said. "If the legitimacy of the presidential system and government agencies in general were to collapse and lose control, I will explain what kind of disasters would occur.
"There's no need for that," he said. President Zelensky's five-year term ended in May last year, but no presidential elections were held due to martial law.
They claim that Ski is not a legitimate president.
