The MBC variety show "Help!Homes" will consist of a feature on the most famous apartment complexes in Korea.Actor Song Jin-woo, Seung Hee of "Oh My Girl," and Kim Suk will go out to investigate every corner of the shopping district in Daechi-dong and Apgujeong, which represent Gangnam.
The three headed for the general shopping area of the Daechi-dong condominium, located just in front of Daechi Station and one of the first generation of Gangnam condominiums completed in 1979. Kim Suk and Seung Hee found a floor-by-floor map at the entrance of the shopping district and said, "It's just like a department store. The third floor is also full of cram schools," said Kim Suk and Seung Hee. In contrast, Song Jin-woo, a local who lived in the same apartment building, said, "The underground shopping mall is the most famous. It is full of food and you will want to stay there for a long time.”
The three of them headed for Block A of the two underground shopping malls, Block A and Block B, where they found a wide variety of food comparable to that of Namdaemun Market. The size of the shopping arcade, with a variety of food comparable to that of Namdaemun Market, was so large that the people watching in the studio could not take their eyes off of it, and they marveled, "I couldn't imagine such a large shopping arcade.”
He and a real estate expert also visit a diverse range of stores that are listed for rent in the shopping district. The expert said, "Currently, there is a rezoning association, and you cannot buy or sell for the purpose of preventing investment. However, only rental properties are available.”
We then head to the Apgujeong-dong Apartments, the twin of the Daechi-dong Apartments, a first-generation Gangnam apartment complex completed in 1976 that is home to 6,300 households. Kim Suk introduces Apgujeong-dong as the only place in the country where all the houses are apartments, and then confesses that he has had opportunities to sign contracts for the corresponding apartments in the past, but has missed them all.
With the help of a real estate agent who is a friend of Kim Suk's, the three of them take a look at the interior of the apartment. Upon entering the foyer, the three are unable to keep their mouths shut at the view of the Hangang beyond the spacious living room. Kim Suk says, "'Help!Homes' the best view of the Hangang. You can even see Namsan Tower, Bukhansan Mountain, Hanam Bridge, Dongho Bridge, and Seongsu Bridge," he said. The interior of the apartment, which underwent a partial remodeling about 20 years ago, oozes the sensibility of the past and boasts one of the most beautiful views of all time, triggering curiosity.
Meanwhile, "Help!Homes" will air in Korea at 10 p.m. on the 9th.
