Idol group n.SSign made a comeback on the 30th of last month with the release of their third mini album, "Love Potion."
Immediately after finishing their activities for the previous album "Tiger," n.SSign released their second single "EVERBLUE" in Japan, solidifying their presence in both Japan and Korea.
In addition to preparing for their comeback, n.SSign is also holding a Japan hall tour, "n.SSign Japan Tour
[EVERBLUE]" and took his global career to the next level.
With their tireless efforts, they reunited with Korean fans for the first time in five months and kicked off 2025.
n.SSign shared various stories about their new album. ◆Below is a Q&A with n.SSign. Q.
When you think of "n.SSign," you think of positive energy and a refreshing image.
What kind of performance did you try to show? A. Kazuta: This time we tried a new genre called New Jack Swing. Not only the genre, but also our concept for this performance.
Heewon: We worked hard to create a bright and sexy atmosphere to bring out the best in the characters.
And because it's an exciting genre, New Jack Swing, I tried hard to make the most of my sense of rhythm.
Lawrence: Personally, I always bleached my skin to show a different, pure charm.
I changed my hair color to black. Q. Why was "Love Potion" chosen as the title song and what is the highlight of the performance? A.
Doha: We hope that we can show our new and retro charm as n.Ssign through the New Jack Swing genre.
The point of this song is that each member's interpretation of the song is slightly different, but I think it's fun to see the individual charms and the overall charm of "n.SSign" that comes together.
Hanjun: "Love Potion (Daydream)" is a genre of song that we have never shown before as n.SSign, and the song was so good that we chose it as the title song.
I think so. There is a y2k style dance in the second half of the song, and that is a highlight that you have to see for yourself. Q.
From their debut song "Wormhole" to their previous album "Tiger" and this new album, they have worked with composer Yoo Hanjin on many projects.
What efforts did you make in terms of music to create a unique n.Ssign color? A. Heewon: We did that for each song, but composer Yoo Hanjin only gave us
He always thinks about how to make the most of our strengths. He also spends a lot of time talking with us and gives us ideas on how to improve not only our songs but also our dances.
I think she will be able to express what she learns through this communication in her songs.
Kazuta: So n.Sign shows off a lot of different concepts.
I think that this is our unique color. In that respect, the thing we always worry about and put our minds to is the style that matches the image of the song.
The song has to be recorded while making the most of the rhythm, and composer Yoo Han-jin is directly directing it, helping me to get a good grasp of the direction.
Seongyoon: With each album, we try to make the voices of each member more beautiful and exciting. Q.
This album contains five songs of various genres. What is the member's favorite song?
A. Seongyoon: I like the title song "Love Potion (Daydream)" the best. Heewon: Personally, I like "XOXO (Complete
Doha, Hanjun: Our favorite song is "Pit a Pat."
Kazuta: All the songs on the record are good. "XOXO" and "Pit a
"Pat" is also good, but the title track "Love Potion (Daydream)" is still the best.
This is it! I want this song to be number one. Robin and Lawrence: I love all five songs, but if I had to choose one, I'd choose "Running After Love." Q.
Upon their comeback, they ranked first on Japan's iTunes Overall Album Chart and Top K-Pop Music Album Chart, and also ranked #1 on the Korean music chart Bug.
How do you feel about taking the top spot on the S chart and the Hanteo album chart? What are your goals that you want to achieve with this promotion? A.
Kazuta: First of all, I want to say "I'm really grateful" to Cosmo (official fandom name).
I want to say that 2025 is off to a great start. I think we were able to get off to such a good start thanks to our fans. Our goal for this promotion is to get first place on a music show.
I want to get first place for the Cosmos who support us so much, for CEO Jung Chang-hwan who always gives us strength, and for the people at nCH who always help us.
Doha: I'm really thankful to our fans and those who love our music. I couldn't believe it and I feel so grateful. And through this promotion, our costumes
I hope you make lots of memories with Cosmo and have lots of happy memories. Hanjun: I want to say that I'm really grateful to Cosmo for helping us get to the top of various charts, and I hope that we can grow through this promotion.
Heewon: I think we were able to do it thanks to our Cosmos, and seeing us accomplish things one by one, I want us to work even harder together.
We vowed to work hard again. We want to work harder and get first place on a music show. Q. You are actively working between Japan and Korea. Currently, you are working on your comeback and your Japanese
You are currently on a successful hall tour, but are there any countries you would like to perform in? A. Kazuta: I know that there are so many Cosmos around the world who are waiting for us, so I would like to perform in the US.
Heewon: Personally, I would like to go to Australia, Robin's hometown, and Taiwan, Lawrence's hometown.
Doha: I want to go to Europe. Hanjun: I want to perform in America. Seongyun: Personally, I like going overseas, but I want to do an exclusive concert in Korea.
I'm really sorry that I've never shown you a solo concert. Robin: I'd like to go to America and perform there someday. I want to increase the number of American Cosmos and become a more global group.
Lawrence: I want to go to my hometown, Taiwan, and perform there. Q. What do you want to accomplish in 2025? A.
Kazuta: I want to be successful. It's been a little over a year since n.Ssign's official debut, and I think we're close to achieving the success we desire.
Doha: I want both Cosmo and n.Ssign to be happy and I would be very happy if we could meet up a lot.
Seongyoon: I hope that n.Sign will grow and become even more cool than they are now. And music.
I would love to get first place on the show. Hanjun: I want to show Cosmo a more beautiful and diverse stage. Robin: I'm currently on the "n.Sign Japan Tour
After successfully finishing the hall tour for "EVERBLUE," I want to perform at an arena again. And I want "Love Potion (Daydream)" to get first place on a music show.
Lawrence: Personally, I want to improve my posture. I want to be able to straighten my back, which looks a little hunched. Heewon: I want to be healthy and happy this year as well as ever.
