「ハルビン」ヒョンビン、単独クローズアップはほとんどない…ウ・ミンホ監督の徹底した意図によるもの
”Harbin” Hyun Bin, Exclusive There are almost no close-ups... This is due to director Woo Min-ho's thorough intention
In the movie "Harbin", there are few exclusive close-ups of Hyun Bin. The movie "Harbin" is about people who head to Harbin for one purpose in 1909 and the people who follow them.
The film depicts the tense pursuit and suspicion between the Koreans. It documents An Jung-geun's heroic uprising in Harbin in 1909. Hyun Bin plays the role of An Jung-geun, a lieutenant general in the Korean Army's staff.
Unlike other films about the Harbin uprising, the film "Harbin" does not feature any close-ups of An Jung-geun, not even of the exact moment An Jung-geun assassinated Ito Hirobumi.
This was the intention of director Woo Min-ho, who directed the film. In an interview with Herald POP, Woo Min-ho said, "I didn't want it to look perfect," and "I wanted it to look like us.
He continued, "In 'Insiders' and 'KCIA Namsan Chiefs', there were a lot of close-ups of the main character Exclusive, but in 'H
"There aren't many close-ups of An Jung-geun in 'Rubin,'" he said, "I didn't want anyone to stand out or be portrayed as a hero. I think it was because of the sacrifices of so many people that An Jung-geun was able to pull the trigger of his gun."
He also said, "As a director, I wanted to shoot the heroic act in close-up, but I wanted to look at that moment from a distance."
"I wanted to shoot from the air, not from the perspective of the general public, but from the perspective of our fallen comrades. So when An Jung-geun shouted 'Long live the Republic of Korea,' I told him to shout it loud enough for them to hear," he emphasized.
Meanwhile, the film "Harbin" is on the verge of drawing four million viewers.
