Suitability for next president: Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung at 31%, Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon and Daegu Mayor Hong Jun-pyo at 7% - Korean opinion poll
The results of a public opinion poll released on the 9th showed that Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, once again ranked first in a poll asking about his suitability as the next president.
Embrain Public, KEI Stat Research, Korea Research, and Korea Research conducted a survey of 1,000 people aged 18 and over from the 6th to the 8th of this month.
According to a National Barometer Survey (NBS) conducted among South Koreans, 31% of respondents chose Lee as the most suitable person to be the next president.

Han Dong-hoon, former chairman of the ruling People's Power Party, recorded 5%, Ahn Cheol-soo, a People's Power lawmaker, recorded 4%, and Woo Won-sik, former National Assembly Speaker, recorded 3%.
However, 32% of respondents were unsure (none or don't know/no answer). In the survey on favorability of presidential candidates, Lee came in first with 37%.
When asked whether they had a favorable impression of each of the people featured in the poll, the highest percentage of people who answered "I have a favorable impression" was Lee, at 37% (see the favorable impression of Lee).

The approval rating for the political parties was 32% for the People's Power Party and 36% for the Democratic Party of Japan.
In the March 3week survey, the People's Power Party was at 26% and the Democratic Party was at 39%, but the People's Power Party rose by 6 percentage points and the Democratic Party fell by 3 percentage points. In addition, the Fatherland Reform Party was at 7%, the Reform New Party was at 39%, and the Democratic Party was at 39%.
