JENNIE from the girl group BLACKPINK has graced the cover of American music media outlet Billboard Magazine.
On the 9th (local time), the American Billboard released an article titled "The Battle with Oneself: JENNIE
, Deep Thoughts on Solo Album Production," and revealed Jennie's photo shoot and interview from the January issue of Billboard Magazine.
Billboard focused on Jennie, saying, "The whole world knows Jennie from BLACKPINK, but Jennie's (
Through her solo debut album, she was able to know and show her true self." Jennie said, "I made a list of things I want in my life and decided to take the next step.
I started to figure out exactly what my goal was and set priorities, and it immediately occurred to me that I still hadn't achieved my dream of releasing a solo album.
"I wanted to feel good about myself by achieving that goal," said OA Entertainment (ODDATELIER)
Jennie spoke candidly about various topics, including the process of establishing Jennie Ruby and the process of entering into a partnership with Columbia Records.
"I want to complete myself as a complete person as Jane," along with "When the album comes out, what I said will come true."
I think you can clearly see what that means, but I rap here, sing here, harmonize here, talk here, and perform in a variety of genres and elements.
"I created the overall sound so that it would play out well and that I would like everything," she said, revealing that she has finished preparations for her new album.
