The agency of Taemin (SHINee) announced that it would take firm action against false facts related to ‘SHINee’ activities.

On the 15th January, Taemin's agency Big Planet Made Entertainment announced through its official SNS, ‘We are aware that there are some worrying opinions about Taemin's “SHINee” activities through some community and SNS posts, and we will clarify our position in relation to this. The agency said, "We have recently posted on SNS."

The agency added, "All the contents posted on SNS recently contain obvious false facts and we will take strong action against the false facts," and added, "We always support and cheer the activities of SHINee for which artist Taemin has great affection, and at the same time, we will do our best to ensure that artists are treated fairly and are fully supported in their activities. We are doing our best and providing full support so that the artist can be treated fairly and be able to perform his activities."

They added, "We will continue to actively support Taemin so that he can shine as a solo artist and as a member of SHINee, and we will do our best to protect him so that he can grow into a bigger artist."

During the ‘SMTOWN LIVE 2025’ held to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the founding of SM Entertainment at the Kocheok Skydome in Seoul between 11th and 12th, Taemin and Ong Yoo did not participate among the SHINee members. However, when allegations were raised that Taemin's side was the reason why the complete stage of SHINee was not realised, Taemin said on SM Town that he was sorry for not being able to show SHINee.
